Sky Hop (“the app”, “we”) is a free endless flyer game for Android (and a browser demo). This policy explains what information is involved when you play. We do not create user accounts and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to play.
Sky Hop is published as package com.skyhop.game.
Contact for privacy questions: use the email listed on the Google Play store listing for Sky Hop
(or the GitHub repository issues for the open web version).
The game saves progress locally on your device (for example via browser or app storage), such as:
This data stays on your device unless you clear app data or site storage. We do not operate a Sky Hop login server that receives this save data.
The free Android version may show ads (for example interstitial ads between runs, or rewarded ads for optional bonuses such as revive or Stardust). Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC).
Ad networks may collect or process device and advertising identifiers, approximate location, IP address, and interaction with ads, in order to show and measure ads and to fight fraud. You may see personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your device settings, region, and consent choices (where required).
If you buy Remove ads, we stop showing our game ads. That purchase does not control third-party privacy settings on your device.
Optional purchases (for example Remove ads, Stardust packs) are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles payment details. We only receive purchase confirmation needed to unlock the item on your device. We do not see your full card or bank details.
See Google Play’s terms and privacy information in the Play Store.
Sky Hop does not require creating an account. Leaderboards and challenges on the device are local. There is no in-game chat and no user-generated social feed.
Sky Hop is a casual arcade game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for Sky Hop accounts (we have none). Parents/guardians can use Google Play family controls and device ad settings. Content rating is intended to reflect mild fantasy obstacle gameplay only.
Where these laws apply:
Google and other advertising/payment partners may process data in countries outside the UK/EEA. Those providers are responsible for their own transfer safeguards as described in their policies.
We may update this page when the game’s features or partners change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
The GitHub Pages web demo uses the same local storage approach. AdMob and Play Billing apply to the Android/Play Store build when those services are enabled.
